Overtraining in sagittal plan can lead to muscular imbalances and chronic injuries over time. Prompting a need for more versatile and cost-effective for clients of all ages.
Lateral subsystem, an inside look. Group of muscles that work together to provide support and stabilization in the frontal plane. Include the gluteus medius, tensor fascia latae, adductor complex, and quadratus lumborum. Provide stabilization during frontal plane movement. Without the support of these muscles working together, the pelvis can become misaligned, leading to lower back and/or hip pain. Excessive pronation of the hip, knee, or foot can be an indication of dysfunction in the lateral subsystem.
